Charlie Nicholas  BDS

Director

  • Charlie qualified from The University of Birmingham in 1996. Here he was awarded the Centenary Trophy for outstanding sporting contribution and representing his country, attaining his full University Blue.
  • After being in general practice for six years Charlie expanded his interest in endodontics by attending the L. Stephen Buchanan “Art of Endodontics” programme in Santa Barbara, California. Following on from this he became one of the few practitioners in the UK to use microscopes to facilitate this cutting edge form of treatment and continues to further this expertise with regular visits to the States and Europe.
  • As well as his clinical work Charlie has been involved in research and development in the field of endodontics carrying out research for clinicians based in Europe and the USA alongside some of the world’s leading researchers in their fields.
  • Charlie has been involved in teaching new graduates as part of their Vocational Training fulfillment for many years. These seminars include a mixture of lecturing and “hands-on” clinics, giving the profession a new, always up to date approach to a notoriously challenging area of dentistry.
  • Most of Charlie’s working life is spent running private endodontic referral practices in Worcestershire, the West Midlands, Shropshire and Mid-Wales. He still has a small general practice commitment from a base in Worcestershire.
  • He is both a member of the British Endodontic Society and The American Association of Endodontists.
